General Nurses act as the Primary/Named Nurse within a multi disciplinary team, developing collaborative, needs based care plans, through assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. General Nurses provide excellent professional, skilled and effective person centred evidence based nursing care.

Adult nurses work with patients of all ages (over 18), and will cover both long and short term conditions and aim to improve patient quality of life across a huge range of health issues.

Within General Nursing, communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as well as strong judgement, and being able to teach, advise and manage people.
